My Lovely Laptop..

Its really nice, i really love the design, not to mention the screen size (16"), backlit keyboard, slim and light charger, and most important of all, the specs.

What i hate about it is that the keyboard looks disproportionate and the weight of this thing. A whooping 3.1kg.

That means, eveytime i go to school, i would be carring about 5kg worth of stuff in my bag, with me bringing my laptop and camera on all days, and also, notes and books for school. I need a locker.

Was actually quite tempted to go with a smaller, lighter version of my current laptop - the dell xps 13. 13.5" screen, 2.7kg, and a much nicer keyboard. In my mind, a much better looker than the one i have now.

Unfortunately, it costs the same price as my one, And its specs are actually lower!

So, got the XPS 16 as its more worth it than the XPS 13...

It came in a big black box, and it came inside this velvet cloth case, which is really nice. The flat charger that im really happy with, and my bicycle pump..

I tried a different background for this shot, this time in the front room. where all the junk is stored there. (chose this because of the black cupboard and the black and white drums, they go well with the laptop in a black and white theme..)

Cant wait to try it out with games! too bad it needs to charge 8hrs...

Oh yeah, also went to Home-Fix to get a proper bicycle pump. Got it at $8 dollars! Compared to the one i saw at carefour (dunno how its spelled), which was a friggin $25 dollars for a flimsy plastic tall hand pump type...

Did not update on the previous day, as i was too busy comparing the various deals and laptops. Finally decided to go for the high end one.

Anyway, so enough of the heidi heidi, down to yesterdays events..

Thursday was a free day, so some people decided to go to the IT show at Suntec. Thrusday was the first day it opened to the public, so we were expecting to avoid the crowd by going after lunch. Turns out it was also really crowded. Recession my ass.

Met Graeme and Jia Qing at City Hall mrt first, then we walked thru city link to Suntec. Realised that all the SBS transit mrt stations all have a perticular smell that is different, as near the end of CityLink, there was this part where it was going to be the new Circle line mrt station, it totally smelled like the rest of the SBS Transit station..hmmm..

Walked around Suntec looking for a place for lunch, finally settled on Fish & co. as we thought that pepper lunch and kenny rogers were more expensive, (and the fact the JQ only brought $5). Stupid, i later found out that kenny rogers set was $1 cheaper than what we bought at Fish & Co... not to mention, a 100 times nicer. Stupid Graeme dint convince us to go to kennys..

Met Billy at the top floor of the IT show, before venturing into the mess of people.

JQ has been constantly trying to camwhore everytime we go out.. its just that i cant come up with an interesting quirk for him...yet. thus, he has less pics than others..


We met Keith (or rat), down here checking out some random dude, totally breathing down his neck..

The IT show was really crowded, even on a friggin thursday afternoon, after lunch time..

Walked around, collected as many brochures as i could while we checked out random stuff. Joseph arrived (after taking so long to find us, even with really clear instructions...) and finished the 4th floor before people started getting hungry, so we walked over to Marina Square's Carls Jr. Met Josephs friend on the way.. dint get his name..

They pull Josephs clothes to reveal that hes really really fat.

JQ got really Emo then, cuz he realised he lost 8 bucks for nothing. Joseph was like doodling weird things on cups and paper napkins. (oh im too lazy to put this line back on top..so yeah..)

We then left quickly after doing the pepper thing, walked to Kotaku or something like that as JQ wanted to look for some cosplaying stuff, then went back to suntec again to finish the final level, before we walked back to the mrt to go home..
