Looking Back at March Part 2.
Ok, now that im back from flag day (which was pretty lame, as our class mostly slacked and i only collected 12.50. hahaha), Im once again, free to continue my previous posting.
So here it goes again..
You wouldnt want to know how i took this shot.
I like the contrasting colours in this shot. The belts nice too.
I loved that day man. It was the most productive day i've ever had. Almost all the shots taken there are nice. Plus the only editing was only added vignetting (the darkened edges). Its just lovely.
The pictures are posted backwards to forwards. So the earliest picture is when my trip was about to end. And the later pictures are taken earlier in the day.
I brought 2 lenses to the bottom of the singapore flyer that day, and mostly used my wide angle. This is a shot taken with my normal zoom lens.
I still cant decide on which picture is the better of the two.
For some reason that day, i decided to cycle here to take pictures of the sunset. Almost did not leave the house as the clouds did not look interesting near my house. Totally did not regret leaving though.
All of the shots were taken with a longer exposure than usual, and my trusty tripod.
Therefore most of the picture is actually brighter than it was in real life (Exposure is a really good tool.)
I spent the entire 1-2 hrs at the same spot, taking photos as the sun went down. The pictures that were nicer were produced After the sun set.
Its impossible to take this shot with a normal angle lens. I took it at my widest range for my wide angle, and took off my polariser filter as it was causing extreme dark edges.
For some reason i just love coconut trees combined with clear blue skies.
The errie skies taken just outside my house. It was another day.
Cycling with random people from SAJC that i dont know, except one guy. Was a really nice experience.
Taken on the way to East Coast. The indoor stadium.
Taken on the way to ECP again, this time, its the park near my house.
One of the nicer sunsets. The black "frame" is actually my door, as i was too lazy to open the door to take pictures, so i just shot through the grates. Turned out nice in the end. Underexposed this a lot too, thus the silhouettes of the buildings in the distance.
It was the same day as the previous picture. The sun was in the right position, so the light from it reflected off the door, onto the wall mirror, onto another wall mirror, and into the bedroom. Needed a subject for this shot, and the guitar fitted nicely as the strings and frets cut a nice contrast in the picture.
Hehe, our first milk party. Which is totally not what you think. It turned out to be a lan party (and that did not come out right too).
JQ's creepy doll.
Taken after the "end" of east coast park. The curvey routes there.
Sunrise at ECP. Went to cycle at ECP as i couldnt sleep due to my flu.
The day i got my first laptop. And i like this picture too, due to the contrast of black, silver and white.
Hahaha, rmb all the circles and zoom ins. yup. totally gay.
Messing around at suntec after the IT show. haha.
This is whats called cam whoring.
All up to mischief at Carls Jr.
Graemes portrayal as a gay dude. Hahaha.
I like this shot. It just shows how tired they were.
Darren and his trend setting frame riding styles.
taken at one of the many cycling trips that we had during the holidays. Clement and his road bike, and my first panning shot that is nice.
HEre, clement with his Nikon camera, with chris gaying at the back.
The day that me and Joseph went to crash NYJCs cross country, which got cancelled and became Josephs man hunt. Look at him, totally thinking hes so lucky theres a marathon going on.
Gabriels cast, caused by one of our cycling trips. The trip that everyone went super super fast, like impossibly fast for "noobs", due to the threatening presence of the dark rain clouds.
One of my best flower pictures, taken at Marina Barrage.
Went there with the usual people.
This picture just shows the sheer size of the facility.
Atop the marina barrage. I like this picture.
as usual, im lagging behind my friends, too busy taking photos of the area. I like the curve of the railings and stuff.
taken atop the marina barrage. The CBD area, totally underexposed. (original intention was to show the threatening clouds, but the buildings became silhouettes and the picture became nicer too)
Hahah i remember this. We walked to the marina barrage from Marina bay mrt station, and the first thing we did when we reached there was to cold steam our asses.
The flower in focus to the left was supposed to be bigger. but its still a nice picture.
=)
A really nice picture taken by gabriel this time.
Well thats all for today. No pictures of flag day too as i did not bring my camear.. haha
