Japan Day 3
Day 3.
Jiew Gor. (inside joke.)
You know that feeling that when u wake up and feel really confused because the surroundings are different. Like how sometimes u feel weird cuz u slept the other way round last night and couldnt remember. Yup. I like that feeling.
Anyway, this time we shifted hotels to one closer to town, as it was the start of some 3 day public holiday in japan and hotels everywhere were fully booked.
The town center was much much more crowded than the previous day. Full of people waiting for busses and what not.
Well, there were a ton more people than you can make out in this photo. People were just streaming out of the train station.
awww.
Luckily for us, our bus had much less people waiting for it, so we got to sit for the short journey out of town to another waterfall. Walked a long way in just to see the water fall from far. Total sianness.
damn that branch.
i dont think you can tell, but this is taken with a wide angle.
taken by a fellow photographer.
Yup, we were that far away from the damn waterfall.
Got back to our hotels and left my aunt and grandmother there to rest, while i ventured out with my mom, intending to visit the botanic gardens there but we stopped 1 stop early and ended up visiting this old palace instead.
I really love my zoom lens. Gives a totally different perspective.
checkout the forks and the pizza.
our new hotel room.
Yup, and the infamous toilet seats.
Dint turn out bad really, after the place closed, we decided to walk to the botanic gardens, but it was closed already.
apparently a stone tied with string on a path means that that path is closed.
you couldnt tell the difference bweteen the sleeping rooms, meeting rooms, or study rooms.
this reminds me of one of the vista wall papers that i used to use.
hmm.. interesting.
feeling like a constant downer like these flowers?
Seeing the jam leading towards town, we decided to walk back to our hotel instead.
Saw more of japan than i had in the bus while walking. I realised that Japan do not have hawker centers, or mama shops. Rarely see a shop selling books or stationary.
What i do see a lot of, are shops that sell souvenirs, 7-11 like shops, mini marts, restaurants.
flowers are everywhere.
looks like that bow tie spaghetti. Yeah, the flowers were really hard to take as they kept moving about in the wind, so the focus is constantly off.
7-11. Beer. Thats enough of an incentive for me to go there!
night falls really fast around here.
lol. solly. like stewie when he met pamela and tommy lee. hepat-it-is...ohh...solly.
Found my aunt and grandma shopping near the hotel, then went to eat at this western eatery, a welcome break from all that ramen.
