NZ Final

Hah, yeah, this was due soo long ago.

Here are the pictures anyway.
Dont be confused by the chronology of the pictures though. This post includes the last 2 days spent in NZ, thus, night and day, and two flights.


I miss NZ. a lot.


We left this really nice place for christchurch on a plane (damn we should have drove back instead).

Surprisingly, the seats on the budget carrier was actually more comfortable than SIA's seats. hmmm



and where will you see an airport so close to the mountains.

i mean. look. its so epic.

runways arnt always perfectly level (even in singapores case.)

cool. Speed brakes are up, exposing the flaps for us to see. From here, you can see that the flap is essentially another wing.




The last day we spent walking about their streets. Somewhat doing some shopping, generally walking around alot.
Then we took some cable car up to somewhere, then that was pretty much it...

Their tool shops are epic. Soo many tools. ahhhhh

this bus essentially shuttles around the whole town.

coke is really expensive elsewhere. even in japan its ex.

yeah, we were waiting for the next cable car to come when this came down. hahah.

uber cold up there. We were essentially at the same level as the clouds (the clouds were bit low that day.

Last day.

We were creating a really long contrail on the flight back. Contrails are trails of ice crystals formed when the water vapour created during combustion in the aircraft engine meets the cold air and freezes.

You can see how much distortion the aircraft window affects the picture.

Duty Free shopping.

APU exhaust. This is the exhaust of the auxiliary power unit of the aircraft. This unit powers the plane when its engines are not powered on.
